Gardening for people and planet
I truly believe that gardening is one of the ways we can make the world a better place – gardening connects people to nature and to each other, and I’m here to help everyone grow their own food, flowers and create a haven for wildlife, regardless of the size of their space.

The way to get the world gardening is to convince people to give it a go, but to reach everyone, gardening needs to be accessible – and that is where I come in. I aim to break gardening down into easy to follow, beginner friendly practical steps and show people that gardening really is for everyone (in every sense of the word).
I spread my enthusiasm for nature friendly gardening in every way I can – whether it is through my online content, writing, presenting, workshops, show gardens, charity roles, campaigning, community garden projects or even garden consultation – you name it, and I’m there to show that gardening is a force for good.
My gardening approach is focused on having as much impact as possible, but in a positive way, meaning nourishing the soil, increasing biodiversity and building spaces that lead to healthier plants and people. You’ll never see me using pesticides or weed killers, and I use as many natural materials as I can.
